270kms with the Canadian Voyageur Brigade Society

Back in 2023, Big Canoe Project took part in CVBS’ 2023 brigade through the Trent-Severn Waterway from Port Severn (Georgian Bay) to Hiawatha First Nation on Rice Lake. More than 100 people came together from all over Canada to paddle 11 big canoes through cottage country at the height of summer. It was a 2010 CVBS trip that brought me to big canoes, brigades are happening on a regular basis; who knows what they could do for you?!
